St. Philip's is thrilled to host Sara Miles in an inspiring and potentially life-changing weekend on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26. Sara is the author of Take This Bread and Jesus Freak, and the founder of the Food Pantry at St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco.
On Saturday, February 25, Sara will lead a workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. titled "Bread of Heaven & Daily Bread." She will talk about the connections between worship and service. This is an opportunity to look more deeply at the meaning of our work in the world and to find ways to taste and see more life. $20.00 workshop fee includes materials and lunch. On Sunday, February 26, Sara will preach at morning worship services. She will also lead a community conversation at 10:15 a.m. in the Murphey Gallery. All are welcome!
